Whether it's a small repair or a complete renovation, every carpentry job gets the same attention to detail: accurate measuring, clean finishes and perfect cuts, and a tidy site when I leave.
First fix is the work that goes in before the plastering: stud walls, door linings and boxing in. Second fix is everything after: hanging doors, skirting boards, architrave and the finishing details. I do both, for homes and for businesses.

Site visits: Mon–Fri 5pm–8pm, Sat–Sun 10am–5pm.

Do you take on small carpentry jobs?
Yes. Whether it's a small repair or a complete renovation, Ayoub approaches every project with the same attention to detail. A garden gate repair and a shed repair are among his recent jobs.
What is the difference between first fix and second fix carpentry?
First fix carpentry is the structural work done before plastering, such as stud walls, door linings and boxing in. Second fix is done after plastering: hanging doors, fitting skirting boards and architrave, and the finishing details. AB Woodwork does both.

How much will my job cost?
Every job is priced on its own, after a £40 site visit where Ayoub looks at the space with you and measures up. You get the price and what's included in writing before any work starts, and if you go ahead the £40 comes off the final price.
Are you insured?
Yes. AB Woodwork has £2 million public liability insurance, and work booked through Checkatrade also carries their £1,000 guarantee.
