I founded AB Woodwork after five years on the tools. Whether it's a small repair or a complete renovation, I approach every project with the same attention to detail.
I specialise in efficient, accurate installations, with a strong focus on clean finishes and perfect cuts. Quality should never be sacrificed for speed, and I always aim to finish every job to the highest standard within a reasonable time.

How much is a site visit?
Site visits are £40. If you go ahead with the work, the £40 comes off your final price. You get a written quote before anything starts.
What does AB Woodwork do?
AB Woodwork is Ayoub El Yaakoubi's carpentry business in North West London. It does four things: carpentry, kitchen fitting, bespoke furniture and commercial shopfitting, for homes and businesses.
Which areas do you cover?
North West London and South Hertfordshire, including Harrow, Wembley, Stanmore, Edgware, Kenton, Kingsbury, Willesden, Kilburn, Cricklewood, Hendon, Borehamwood and Bushey. See the areas and postcodes
When can you come out for a site visit?
Site visits are Mon–Fri 5pm–8pm, Sat–Sun 10am–5pm. Pick a time online in the booking section, or WhatsApp 07922 616123.
Are you insured?
Yes. AB Woodwork has £2 million public liability insurance, and work booked through Checkatrade also carries their £1,000 guarantee.
Do you do commercial work?
Yes: coffee shops, retail units and offices, including reception desks, counters, shelving and bespoke cabinetry. Book a site visit or WhatsApp to talk it through.
Do you supply kitchens, or just fit them?
Both. I can fit a kitchen you've already bought, or supply and install it for you. Worktops, panels, plinths and appliances are all part of the fit.
Can I change or cancel my visit?
Yes. Use “Change or cancel” in the booking section with your booking reference and phone number, or just send a WhatsApp.
How do I pay?
By card, bank transfer or Checkatrade Pay. The price is agreed in writing before work starts, with no surprises on the day.
Do you work outside London?
London and the edges of Hertfordshire are home turf, and the odd project goes further. A Barcelona flat is in the work above. Ask and I'll let you know.
